Travel Food Atlas was founded by me, Tom (pictured), in 2016 after planning for an upcoming trip and noticing that all the food websites in my research were incredibly dull and uninspiring.
Thus the decision to start Travel Food Atlas was about sharing the most spectacular cuisines and dishes from around the world with exciting imagery, flavor descriptions and thought-provoking histories, the kind of resource I was looking for.

This coincided neatly with a love of travel and food, and has since led to 7+ years of sharing some of the most spectacular dishes that make up the cuisines of different regions all around the world.
Traveling around the world, trying local cuisines, photographing dishes and capturing authentic recipes has allowed Travel Food Atlas to grow a loyal following. It has since become a team of 11 passionate food enthusiasts from around the world who work to bring you the wondrous, unique and sometimes strange dishes they discover. Bon Appétit
